Number one tee box. The hole doglegs to the left with OB on both sides. The fairway is widest 150 yards from the green. Long and right is dead OB. Short and left is either OB or blocked by the large tree. Accuracy is more important than distance.

Number 1 approach. There is a small bunker guarding short right. The green slopes heavily from the back fringe. Short is safer than long, as long approach shots will roll downhill away from the green, leaving a flop shot back up to the pin.
